Job Description:

There are two vacancies in the Planner classification. Open until filled, with a priority application date of Feb. 24, 2020.The Planner is responsible for entry level current and long range planning work as assigned, which includes providing information to the public on the planning process. The individual assigned to the position is responsible for the review of land use applications, including analysis of the Comprehensive Plan, public policy, development regulations, and state statutes. The Planner works with a team of professional planners and support staff and drafts, reviews, processes and implements ordinances and a variety of planning policy documents.
