Reflecting on our 2025 accomplishments

As the APA Washington Board and volunteers dive into our 2026 work program, it’s worth pausing to celebrate what we accomplished together in 2025. If you’re looking for proof that we had a strong year, the 2025 APA WA Annual Report tells the story.

A few highlights:

  • Membership remained strong and engagement stayed high, thanks to dedicated volunteers, board members, and section leaders across the state. We also elected new leadership, bringing fresh ideas and energy to the chapter.
  • Our annual conference in Tacoma was a standout success, welcoming a record number of planners for learning, connection, and inspiration. We also recognized five individuals for their contributions to the field.
  • Sections across the chapter delivered meaningful professional development throughout the year, helping members earn CM credits, sharpen skills, and stay current on planning issues.
  • Behind the scenes, APA WA continued to strengthen its operations and finances, maintaining a solid, resilient foundation for the future.

The takeaway? 2025 was a year worth celebrating—and it set us up well for what’s next. I encourage you to take a few minutes to explore the full Annual Report. It’s a snapshot of what you helped make possible and a reminder of the momentum we’re building together across the Chapter.
