Environmental ManagerEmployer: Port of Longview Job Description: The Port of Longview is recruiting to fill the position of Environmental Manager. This position is responsible for aiding in the Port’s environmental affairs including but not limited to, the development, implementation, and management of various environmental capital and non-capital projects from conception through completion; mitigation negotiations; in water and wetland mitigation development and permitting; environmental project permitting; sustainability and environmental policy development and implementation. Experience/Qualifications/Knowledge/Skills: Bachelor’s degree in planning or environmental sciences (biology, geology), environmental engineering, or related technical field is required. Three to five years’ experience in environmental planning and permitting with local, state, and federal agencies, working with complex environmental regulations and natural resource issues, or an equivalent combination of education and experience. Demonstrated development and implementation of environmental mitigation strategies is preferred. Must have demonstrated project management skills.
