Building Inspector / Plans ExaminerEmployer: City of Sequim Job Description: The Building Inspector/Plans Examiner II is a technical position that is responsible for reviewing building plans and building inspection services within the Department of Community Development. This position conducts building plan reviews, conducts inspections of construction projects, makes technical determinations of building code compliance, and assures that building review procedures and rules are revised as appropriate. Duties include providing back-up to front-counter reception and information. Frequent interaction is required with permit applicants, contractors, architects, DCD and other City departments and the general public.
