I hope you're finding time to enjoy the longer days of summer. Even during this busy season, the involvement and support of our members continue to strengthen APA Washington and the planning community we serve.

Take our Member Survey

One of the most important ways you can help is by participating in our ongoing member survey. If you have not already done so, please check your email for a link to the survey (sent Monday, July 27) and take a few minutes to share your input. We want to better understand what you value most about APA WA, identify opportunities for improvement, and ensure we are meeting the needs of our diverse membership. Survey responses are anonymous, and members will also be eligible for a drawing for APA WA merchandise at this year's conference. Please be sure to submit your response by August 8.

I also encourage you to take advantage of early-bird registration (discounted for members through August 16!) for the 2026 APA Washington Annual Conference, taking place October 7-9, 2026, in Vancouver, Washington. Our theme this year is Level Up Washington: Planning for What's Next. We’re looking forward to bringing together planning professionals from across Washington and beyond to exchange ideas, explore emerging challenges and opportunities, and strengthen our connections.
