The Nominating Committee of the Washington Chapter of the American Planning Association is seeking nominations to fill several leadership positions at the Chapter and Section levels for terms starting in 2027. This is your opportunity to support excellence in our planning community, expand your professional network and leadership skills, and shape the future of our planning profession in Washington state.

We are currently seeking nominations for the following positions, with two-year terms that would begin on Jan. 1, 2027:

After hearing of your interest, we will provide instructions to candidates on how to go through the self-nomination process using the APA National nominations portal website.

The general election schedule provided by APA National for this year is:
April 10: APA National Nominations Site opens
May 8: Nominations Site closes
June 5: Final Slates due to APA
August 5: Election opens
September 4: Election closes
