Job Description:

MAKERS architecture and urban design, LLP is looking for a marketing coordinator to be part of an incredible team. This position may be based in either our Seattle or San Diego office. In this role, you’ll lead production of marketing proposals and qualifications packages. You’ll create and manage marketing content across multiple platforms, including our website, social media and printed collateral. You’ll work with our firm leadership on projects to showcase MAKERS’ expertise and experience, and you’ll support our various teams with document design and production. And you’ll also work with our business administrator to manage various administrative tasks around the office. 

Job Duties:

  • Manages the proposal process from start to finish, working with planning staff on technical content.
  • Leads the preparation of project reports, and other deliverables, including document production, layout development and editing.
  • Establishes document templates to support future deliverables.
  • Leads the development of other marketing materials, including presentations, display boards and leave-behinds.
  • Coordinates with team members from other consulting firms when developing proposals.
  • Tracks proposal wins and losses, as well as other pertinent information related to marketing efforts.
  • Manages and updates marketing materials, including resumes, project sheets and informational packets.
  • Supports website and social media management.
  • Leads the preparation of award submittals.
  • Provides day-to-day administrative assistance, in conjunction with our business administrator.
  • Other duties as assigned.

Experience/Qualifications/Knowledge/Skills:

  • College degree in communications, marketing, public relations, business administration or a related field.
  • At least two years of related work experience is required. (Previous experience in the A/E/C industry and with form SF330 is a plus.)
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office applications and Adobe Creative Cloud, specifically InDesign, Illustrator and Photoshop. (Premiere Pro and After Effects experience is a plus.)
  • Experience creating content for and managing multiple social media accounts.
  • Excellent writing, proofreading, editing and document production skills.
  • Ability to work under tight deadlines and on multiple tasks and urgent requests.
