SW Planner's Forum—Spring 2011
Southwest Washington planners gathered for the spring planners forum on April 21, 2011. The featured topic focused on urban food and answered the question, "What can planners do to encourage and support the availability of fresh foods in our communities?" The session focused on food access assessments, policy issues, and implementation strategies. Guest speakers included Kara Martin, Urban Food Link, and Tricia Mortell and Brendon Haggerty, both from Clark County Public Health. Their informative presentations are posted here:
