Puget Sound Section Election Results

One-hundred ninety-eight ballots were cast in the election, which is 20 percent of the Section membership. Congratulations to incoming officers, who will serve on the Board beginning this June.

The following officers ran unopposed:

Michael Booth, AICP, President Elect
Salina Lyons, King County Representative
Emily Terrell, AICP, Pierce County Representative
James Colburn, AICP, Treasurer

Congratulations to the new Secretary, Alex Cohen, AICP, with gratitude to Carol Lumb for also running for the office.

Thank you to all those who decided to run and to those who helped coordinate the election this year.

In addition, Julia Park, Section President appointed Stan Kosick this month to serve the remaining term of the Snohomish County Representative (through June 2011). The position was vacated earlier this year by Michael Booth, following a change in employment that took him out of Snohomish County. And finally, the Section wishes to welcome and introduce our newest UW Student Representative, Jason Woycke, who was recently selected by his peers to serve on the Puget Sound Section Board.
